Bio- A 2009 graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, Merissa came on staff full time for FCA Lacrosse in October 2010. Merissa played Division I Varsity Lacrosse for the Commodores and majored in Communications. While attending Vanderbilt, she made three NCAA tournament appearances and was a member of the SEC and ALC Honor Roll, as well as the Dean’s List. Her senior year, Merissa served as a captain of the lacrosse team and the president of FCA. Merissa attended Mount Hebron High School in Howard County, Maryland where she was a captain and won multiple state and national championships. During her summers in college Merissa interned for Sport in Society, Axis Sport Performance, and volunteered as a Young Life leader. After college, Merissa worked as a Sales and Marketing Representative for Ryan Homes before following God’s calling to FCA Lacrosse.

Merissa and her husband, Michael, currently live in Nashville, Tennessee. Michael graduated from River Hill High School in Clarksville, Maryland and played lacrosse at Villanova University.
