Shorter University, in transition to NCAA Division II, seeks qualified applicants for a graduate assistant coach of women’s lacrosse. The primary responsibility will be to assist the head coach in all facets of the program including but not limited to the following: recruiting academically and athletically qualified student-athletes, organization and planning of practices, game preparation, administrative duties, monitoring academics, strength and conditioning, and other tasks as assigned by the head coach.

Applicants should be interested in receiving a post-graduate degree (MBA, Leadership or Education). Each position is a two-year commitment. Requirements include: Prior collegiate playing and/or coaching experience. Proof of graduation from an accredited institution of higher learning with a relevant degree; Acceptance into the graduate program of Shorter University; Ability to relocate and begin no later than August 1, 2013. "The Woodlands Lacrosse Club – Seeking coaches for all levels (Youth – High School Varsity)
The Woodlands, Texas

The Woodlands Lacrosse Club is actively searching for coaches at all levels; 5th Grade - High School Varsity. The club includes elite club team athletes as well as beginning players. The program benefits from a local youth feeder program and has a club board that provides a strong support system.

Requirements include lacrosse playing experience at the high school or preferably college level; at least two years of coaching experience; strong leadership, motivational and organizational skills; a positive attitude and enthusiasm for the sport and players. The ideal candidate should be interested in building the program and molding individual talent into a championship team while emphasizing teamwork, fundamentals, good sportsmanship, leadership, and respect. Candidates will be required to administer the program according to the principles and philosophy of the High School Varsity coaches, the board of directors and in accordance with the rules of the THSLL (Texas High School Lacrosse League). In addition, candidates must pass a background check and adhere to the coach’s code of conduct.

This position requires attendance at all practices, games, and when requested, club board meetings. This is a coaching-only position; no teaching positions are available.

The successful candidate will assist the head coach in responsibilities including but not limited to: coaching individual skill/technique sessions, recruiting, travel planning and itineraries, game day preparation, practice plans, film analysis and all other duties assigned by the head coach.
