2008 Team Recap

From the months of April to June, FCA in partnership with adidas held 16 tryouts in 14 different cities. Tryout participants grew from 510 players to over 700 in 2008. The top 20 players were selected for the 2008 FCA National High School Team. The team meet in Rochester, NY for practice and an exhibition game against the Rochester Blaze. The team then traveled up to Toronto, Canada to face the Ontario Edge in a three game series for the North American Cup. The team finished 4-0 beating the Edge Senior team three times and the Junior Team once to reclaim the North American Cup.
