2006 Team Recap
With the success of the previous year’s tryouts, more tryouts were added. Tryouts were held in Baltimore, Boston, Columbus, Denver, Long Island, Rochester, Salisbury, and San Diego. As the result of adding new tryout locations 180 kids were able to tryout for the team. Forty-three players were chosen to play on two separate teams. The Jr. National Team competed in the Battle of the Hotbeds at the University of Delaware while the National Team competed at the first ever Tournament of Champions held at Gettysburg College.
